These terms explain how your family can use Owlbryte Academy, and what you can expect from us. Your agreement is with Owlbryte Academy, a business registered in California, USA. By creating an account or buying access, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the academy.
The account holder must be a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. You create and manage each child's profile, approve purchases, and decide whether to share your child's achievements. Children use Owlbryte only through your account and with your permission.
Please keep your sign-in links and your child's PIN private. You are responsible for what happens on your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else is using it.
The full Multiplication realm (Multiplication Magic) is free. You do not need a payment card to start, and a free account never turns into a paid one on its own.
A paid place gives one child lifetime access to the full academy: all six realms, every improvement we make to them, and any new math realms we add later. There is no subscription and no renewal fee. Each additional child needs their own place, with separate progress and diplomas.
What lifetime means. Lifetime means for as long as Owlbryte Academy operates, which we intend to be a very long time. If we ever had to close the academy, we would give account holders at least six months' notice so every child could finish their realms.
Your child's place cannot be transferred or shared with another household. Classroom codes and gifted places have their own access period, stated when they are issued.
Owlbryte supports the math your child is already learning at school or at home. Children learn at different speeds, so we cannot promise a particular grade, test score, or result by a particular date.
If you bought under an earlier plan. Families who bought before these terms took effect keep exactly what they bought, including any Family plan child places stated on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
All prices are in US dollars. The standard price is $199 for your first child and $129.35 for each additional child in the same household, a 35% sibling discount. You can add siblings at any time. Checkout shows the price, any discount you are eligible for, and any tax before you pay.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
If prices change later, the access you have already bought does not change.
Every paid purchase comes with a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund. The 30 days start on the day you pay, not the day you create a free account. Email refund@owlbryte.com from the email address you bought with, within 30 days of payment, and we refund the full amount to the way you paid. You do not need to finish lessons or explain your decision.
After a refund, paid access ends and the free Multiplication realm stays free. Any referral reward connected with the refunded purchase is cancelled. Our Refund Policy has the full details, and your rights under consumer law always apply as well.
Owlbryte diplomas recognize that a child has completed our learning requirements for a realm, including the lessons and the final challenge. They celebrate real progress inside Owlbryte. They are not school qualifications and do not replace them.
You may download, print and share your child's diploma for personal use. Please do not alter a diploma, or present one your child has not earned.
Not unless you choose it. Your child's profile and diplomas are private by default. A diploma appears in the Great Hall of Math Wizards, or on a share page, only after you approve it and choose how your child is shown: first name, initial, wizard handle, or anonymous.
You can withdraw sharing at any time from your parent dashboard or by emailing us. We remove the content from Owlbryte and disable its share link, but we cannot erase copies other people have already saved or shared. We may also remove any public content ourselves if we believe that is necessary to protect a child or the academy. Our Privacy Policy explains public sharing in more detail.
Every parent account has its own referral link. Under the standard offer, a new family who joins through your link gets $50 off its first paid purchase, and you earn $50 once for that family. Later purchases by the same family, including siblings and upgrades, do not earn another reward. You cannot earn a reward by referring yourself or anyone in your own household.
The $50 referral discount applies to a family's first paid purchase and can be used together with standard sibling pricing. It cannot be combined with any other promotion: checkout applies whichever single offer saves the family most, and a purchase made with a different promotion does not earn a referral reward.
How credit works. The first eligible referral link a family opens is remembered for 60 days. If the family creates its account within that time, the referral is saved to the account and stays there until the family's first paid purchase, however long that takes. An account created without a referral cannot add one later. Clearing cookies, or creating the account without your link, can prevent credit, and we can only credit what our records show.
When you are paid. A reward shows as pending when the referred family pays. You earn nothing until they have actually paid. It becomes eligible 30 days later, once their refund window has closed, and is sent by PayPal at the next monthly payout when your eligible balance reaches $50. Smaller balances carry forward and are never lost. If a referred purchase is later refunded, disputed or reversed, the reward is cancelled, even if already paid, and we deduct it from your future rewards. You are responsible for any tax on rewards.
We may change or end the referral program for future referrals. We give at least 14 days' notice of important changes, and rewards you have already earned are not affected.
Tutors, group admins, teachers, creators and other approved partners are covered by our separate Partner Agreement.
Use the lessons for your own enrolled children's learning. Please do not share accounts or sign-in links, copy, download, record or resell the videos, repost lessons, bypass access controls, cheat diploma requirements, collect other families' information, or interfere with the service. Classroom or commercial use needs our written permission.
Owlbryte's lessons, videos, artwork, Professor Maximus BryteSpark, the realm names and the diplomas belong to Owlbryte Academy and are trademarked. Buying a place gives your family the right to use them, not to own or reuse them.
If we believe an account is being misused, we may restrict it while we look into the problem. Where practical, we explain what is wrong and give you a chance to put it right. Any action we take remains subject to your consumer rights.
We work hard to keep the academy available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will never have a fault or an interruption, and we cannot promise a particular learning result. Temporary maintenance or a technical problem does not reduce the access you bought. If a fault lasts, tell us and we will fix it.
Where the law allows a limit, our total responsibility for any claim connected with the academy is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility or consumer right that the law does not allow us to exclude. We are not responsible for problems caused by your internet connection, your device, or events outside our reasonable control.
If you have a problem, email legal@owlbryte.com first. Most issues are solved within a day or two.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any court case must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts. Nothing here takes away protections you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.
Notice for California residents. Under California Civil Code section 1789.3, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
We may update these terms. We post the new date at the top and tell account holders by email about important changes. Changes do not remove rights attached to a purchase you have already made, and never reduce rights protected by law.
We communicate with you by email, including receipts, sign-in links and legal notices, and you agree to receive them electronically. Please keep your email address up to date.
If Owlbryte Academy is ever transferred to a new owner, your access and these terms transfer with it, so your child's place continues.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. These terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy are the whole agreement between us about the academy.
